1% for the Planet has created a new series of pop-up in-person events around the globe to engage with local communities and inspire business networks to actively create ripples of impact globally.
Their first session takes place in London on October 6th - 7th, 2022. 1% for the Planet Sessions will equip businesses and environmental partners with knowledge on how to deepen their commitment to our planet through advocacy, partnership and collective action.
On Day Two our very own Hannah Cox, founder of betternotstop and The Better Business Network will be speaking on a panel discussing The Power of Collective Action and sharing ways to engage different stakeholders in their 1% commitment. On the panel, Hannah will be joined by; Barny Dillarstone, the founder of twio, Christian Arno, the founder & CEO of Pawprint and Kiera Murphy, business account manager at 1% for the Planet.
The Sessions will be split into 6 categories:
Labs - Hands-on experience led by 1% for the Planet’s environment partners, giving tools and advice on how to drive greater impact.
Moments - Grounding experiences for intentional connection through mindfulness-based activities.
Studies - Keynote programming led by industry experts that inspire big ideas and actions.
Chats - Short presentations, roundtable discussions, office hours and Q&A experiences led by 1% for the Planet’s staff to help you maximize membership.
Actions - Volunteering with environmental partners, team building or guided community excursions to put your learnings into action.
Connections - Opportunities to foster new relationships and collaboration with business members and environmental partners.
