HANNAH COX
betternotstop's Strategic Director
betternotstop was originally founded as a blog by Hannah to document her new approach to life; focusing on positivity and sustainability. Now an award winning B Corp Sustainable Impact Agency, Hannah's mission is to create systemic change in how businesses and governments operate to create a positive impact on people and the planet.
She authored landmark Industry Reports 'More than Music' 2022 and 2024 in which we lay out frameworks to increase sustainability and impact at Music Festivals. Her Impact work at Kendal Calling won Best Marketing Campaign at the Festival Awards and we promote internal strategies as well as work with festivals on Audience Behaviour Change campaigns
Hannah's mission is to create systemic change in how businesses and governments operate to create a positive impact on people and the planet. In 2022 she was a Top Ten Winner of Top Ten Northern Gamechanger and is now also Judge on the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards, Sustainable Wedding Awards and for the Prolific North Awards.
RYAN FLAHERTY
Content Producer at betternotstop.
Ryan cares about the importance of strong, engaging content and he supports the betternotstop in all our content creation and social media campaigns.
He wants to amplify our positive impact by producing educational, effective content that reaches new audiences and creates change.
Ryan was instrumental in producing our 2023 Leave Nothing But Memories campaign at Kendal Calling. This campaign went on to win campaign of year at the Live Green Awards with Ryan's work creating tangible behaviour change.
AIMEE PARSONS
Projects and Impact Manager at betternotstop.
Aimee makes sure that all of our work within the live events industry is carried out to the highest standard. With several years of experience working closely within music industry, Aimee helps to create dynamic and engaging campaigns which shape audience behaviour and create positive change.
An experienced dance teacher and facilitator, Aimee mixes her creativity with her specialist knowledge in event creation.
LAURA MATZ
Impact Director at betternotstop.
As a B Leader, Laura brings several years of experience specialising in B Corp support, materiality assessments, impact strategy and reporting.
Laura loves brands with impact and most of all, working with the people behind those brands.
When it comes to supporting businesses, Laura equips the clients with the right tools and knowledge so that they can carry on the work feeling confident that internal sustainability skills are growing.
MILO FLETCHER
betternotstop's Operations and Impact Manager.
Milo plays a key role in supporting companies on their sustainability journeys, including helping with B Corp Certification and Materiality Assessments.
Milo has also played a key role in creating betternotstop's industry leading reports on the state of the Live Events Industry.
Passionate about social justice and the environment, Milo wants to see all businesses become purpose-driven and sustainable.
ROBIN LYONS
Carbon Literacy Facilitator for betternotstop.
Robin is passionate about educating people on the importance of climate action and is responsible for running our bi-monthly carbon literacy training.
Robin also works as an Artistic Director of the UK's leading climate entertainment companies. A passionate theatre performer, Robin mixes his passion of acting and the environment, creating an engaging sessions.

Simon Ursell is the Founder of the Manchester based environmental consultancy firm Tyler Grange.
A keynote speaker, and co-host of The Bouncebackability Podcast and columnist for Your Business Matters blog, Simon's purpose-driven approach to leadership has been recognised across the media including: BBC, CNBC, Business Live, Insider, Startups.co.uk and more.
A passionate champion of mental health and the environment, Simon is the perfect fit as a Board Member of betternotstop.
JANNINE BARRON
Jannine Barron is a regenerative business mentor and founder of the Growth Experience.
Jannine has a background in pioneering socially responsible business and guiding leaders and teams to foster deep connections with nature. Through nature therapy and intuitive practices, she introduces a distinctive method for business strategy and marketing to invite unconventional thinking to nurture the crucial new paradigm approaches necessary for humanity today.
A sustainability and social justice activist, Jannine has a wealth of experience which she brings to betternotstop's Board.
NATURE (GRAHAM HANSEN)
Graham Hansen is the Director of Lawbox Design, a sustainable law firm based in Manchester.
Graham will be representing the voice of Nature on our Board, this means that he will representing the interests of Nature rather than his own interests.
This means that as a company when making strategic decisions, we are always considering what impact our approach would have on the natural world. The aim of this is to make better informed decisions around the topics that impact nature, our employees, members and stakeholders.
As a passionate sustainability enthusiast and experienced environmental lawyer, Graham is the perfect fit to represent Nature on the Board of betternotstop.
