With many festivals rolling over their live events until 2022, we were thrilled to learn about Tentival; the virtual festival with a difference.
Taking place on Saturday 12th June between midday and 10pm, Tentival will bring that festival vibe direct to you from the comfort of your own home or garden, with attendees being urged to get outside and join in virtually for a day of festival entertainment, participation, and live music!
The day will be a joyous celebration with all the festival feels and without the packing, trudging across fields and portaloos – simply pitch a tent in your garden or make a camp in your home!
On this year’s (virtual) line up, Tentival has a wide-ranging mix of talent including live performances, DJs, well-being sessions, workshops, discussions, competitions, and above all – fun and laughter throughout the day (not to mention the competitions, prizes, dressing up and more!).
Accessible to all with a device and internet connection, ticket buyers will be sent a link to click and enter the festival area on the day – instantly loading up to keep the kids busy while you enjoy the music, games, and access to entertainment from across the globe.
Tentshare offers a more sustainable and cost-effective solution for campers, it’s committed to building a community of campers and novice campers sharing tents, equipment, and knowledge.
Tentival’s founder, Rebecca Heaps, says that “Tentival 2021 is about creating a sense of community through joy, with access to performers from across the globe.” And for every ticket sold (per household), Tentshare has pledged to plant a tree, having partnered up with Tree Sisters, as well as donate a percentage of the profit to charity.
All of which sounds fantastic, as far as we’re concerned!
